What happens in Vegas . . . makes it into my books.

Hi friends,

Wow, what a crazy week in Las Vegas and I didn’t even gamble.

Instead, I met with and learned from a whole host of independent authors, many of whom have befriended me online and we finally got to meet in real life.

Look at all these people – and ALL of them are independent authors! 1000+ of them.

I got to have dinner with an amazing group of post-apoc writers.

I’m sure you can imagine the conversations: do small tech items survive a solar flare but not an EMP? What’s the fastest way a disease would spread around the world, and all kinds of zombie talk. 🙂

Authors, classes, dinners, fun and an overload of information – so not much writing done this week. And I’m a bit sad getting on a plane today to fly home.

After all that, I thought of how awesome it is that there are people out there reading my stories and enjoying them, too. What a great experience!
